More BOOS Please
Halloween may be gone and past but in my opinion, it is the best holiday of the year. I love the cozy fall layers, the colorful and exciting makeup, and all things spooky of course. I found my perfect Halloween esthetic in the form of a Brownstone stoop in Brooklyn and I just had to do a photo shoot.
There is something about the streets of Brooklyn in October. The warm rich tones are influential in my wardrobe and my makeup and I encourage all of you reading this to jump out of your comfort zone this fall. Experiment with makeup, try new colors, add layers or textures to your wardrobe that you may not have tried in the past.
As I am sure you all are aware, the 90's are alive and well this fall. As a 90s baby, I could not be happier at this fashion revival. You can see my nod to the 90s in my outfit choices here. With marled gray, striped turtlenecks, a high messy pony, and a tattoo choker to top it off, the 90s are perfectly placed here.
As I have said before in my Instagram posts and previous blog posts, the most important piece of your fall wardrobe is the confidence you exude. I am plus size, I am curvy. I have had family, friends, and significant others throughout my entire life hint that I should lose some weight. But quite honestly, their opinions mean nothing to me. I own my curves, I carry my confidence with pride, and I know that I inspire and encourage others to do the same. My body is none of your concern and your opinions of me are none of my business. And that right there is the only fall wardrobe piece I need.
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite part of fall is. Also let me know your thoughts on confidence and body positivity.
