Come Here Once

Just a Midwestern gal in New York City trying to convince people she is in to more than beer and cheese. Stick around, it should be a good time!

Getting Sweet In Upstate New York

Ice Cream Shop-3.jpg

Here in New York, fall feels much the same as Wisconsin (perhaps even warmer). That doesn't stop my desire to pull out those fall staples like faux leather jackets and statement hats. I love everything about fall and I love adjusting my wardrobe accordingly.

Fall rings in skinny jeans, booties, layers, and extra detailed pieces. And as I have mentioned in my prior post, being trendy does not mean you have to break your bank. Get smart about your shopping and you'll be able to piece together an adorable outfit just like I have.

In this look I paired these adorable, geometric booties with a rounded floppy hat and an embellished top that I snagged from Goodwill! To round off the look, I used staple falls pieces that will never go out of style; skinny jeans with a frayed hem and a purple/taupe faux leather jacket. My favorite piece of the wardrobe is actually the most expensive, my wallet, but I purchased this from an outlet store so again, be smart about where you grab those deals!

Let me know in the comments below how you love to style looks in the fall. Being fashionable is all about including special details that are unique. And of course, rock that confidence and always flaunt a smile!
